I’m Corey

Visual and Product designer you can build with.

I’m a fan of making the complicated feel easy. I take messy problems, strip away the noise, and turn them into solutions that work for the business and the people using them. Less clutter, more clarity, and a solid finish every time.

Some of my recent work.

I love helping businesses build their next product with design that works as well as it looks. I focus on the balance between practical functionality and a clean, polished aesthetic.

The person behind the screen.

Beyond the work, here is a bit of the story behind how I ended up here. It’s less about a typical career path and more about a lifelong obsession with the art of solving problems.

I was born and raised in the diverse and creative culture of Portland, Oregon, but today I call the Sonoran landscape of Arizona my home.

I grew up in a family of ‘professional do-it-yourselfers’, people who quite literally built homes and restored vehicles from the ground up. That environment sparked my obsession with problem-solving and seeing a project through to the finish. I eventually carried that torch into my own career as a full-time contractor and freelanced my passion for visual design.

After successfully selling my contracting company, I decided to move full-time into what I’ve always been most passionate about: stripping away complexity to make things work better, and look good. I treat product design with the same craftsmanship I applied to physical builds. I love to learn and hone every craft I’m a part of, ensuring that what I build isn’t just visually clean, but structurally sound and ready for the real world
