A Visual Study of Resilience
The Radiance Series is an ongoing exploration of contemporary assemblage, defined by the deliberate tension between raw, organic erosion and refined, reflective surfaces. Each piece begins with a “husk” of hand-broken, frayed wood, meticulously sculpted and plastered with a custom-bound mixture to mimic the sedimentary layers of time. This weathered exterior serves as a poignant metaphor for the “broken world” we inhabit. At the heart of this radial starburst lies a polished, domed stainless steel core, a mirrored soul that invites the viewer to see their own reflection as the only perfect truth amidst the debris.
